How To Measure CORRECT Golf Cub Length

Every Golfer... should get the length of the irons and wedges correct [in my opinion]

The length of the irons and wedges - either custom fitted or adjusted by a club builder or local golf pro shop - WANTS to be correct

CLUBS TOO SHORT
Can lead to excess dynamic movement up and DOWN, sore backs, inconsistent ball striking, often TOE biased, and generally making the golfer produce faults to make up for the club length
--Shots likely to go RIGHT

CLUBS TOO LONG
Can lead to excess dynamic movement up and down, sore backs, inconsistent ball striking, often HEEL biased, and generally making the golfer produce faults to make up for the club length
--Shots likely to go LEFT

Great video, I definitely agree to go by that Ping chart. I'm 6 feet 2 inches tall (6'2 and a half to be exact) with a 37 inch Wrist to Floor measurement and I use +0.5 and 2 degree upright. When I'm using standard length irons I tend to stand too close to the ball, and hunch my upper body forwards and down lower during my swing and hang my arms down too low which causes a lot of weird swing issues. And it also got me into bad habits with my driver swing as well since I started doing the same thing with driver over time.

Recently had 2 iron fittings. 1 at PXG and another at Golf Galaxy. Both were incredible experiences! Tried Ping, Mizuno, taylormade, cobra and PXg. Untimely went with Ping G430 4&5 hybrid 6-pw on a CB graphite reg flex shaft. That setup gave me about 10 extra yards of carry and the best dispersion all around.
