It's the hardest, most emotional, best job ever.

A stay at home moms always gets the credit and praises but barely anyone mentions work from home moms that runs the household while working a full time job. Kudos to these moms as well for doing their best for their families.

I glad you are saying this after Dave Ramsey said there was no point in staying home because “it won’t make a difference to a little child as they won’t remember”. Thank you for fixing that view.

When your adult children come to you and tell you how much they appreciate that you stayed at home with them...trust me it's completely amazing!❤❤ And yes, it's very hard, but very rewarding.

Invaluable work and I am so proud and grateful to be able to be a stay at home mom. Literally never ends but I know hat I’m doing is going to be worth it. ❤

Your job is priceless. Think of the value you're adding to the home, community, world. My husband is able to strive more in his career because I handle so much. It's a priceless gift being home with these children.

I can’t enjoy my time with my baby at home because I’m feeling guilty that my husband is working and I’m just stay home mom!
Even though his income is fine for us as a family of 3 I can’t stop overthinking about what should I do, on the other hand day care is so expensive and if I will go back to work, %70 of my income will be for day care which it doesn’t make sense.
Knowing that the gap in my resume will make my life more challenging to get job after my kid grow up is another reason to make me nervous!

I hired a few women to take care of my son, and never again will I do that! They won't care for your children like you would, and by the time you include your gas to work and their pay, you're not making anything. We just had our second child not even a month ago, and my husband said I do not have to work.

It may mean if the side has a higher income career the couple needs to decide if the dad stays at home for a season so the mom can get them out of debt faster - obviously depends on health too & how bad the debt is.

I get called a "lazy piece of s***" all bcz im a stay at home mom right now to take care of my son and all that. And whats worse, i just had an ectopic pregnancy. Baby was inside my right fallopian tube. Life threatening and had no choice but to go in for surgery. Havent even been out of the hospital for a month and im still being called foul names, whilst being disrespected, belittled and degraded. All because i dont have a "real job."
It hurts. Im not gonna lie.

I've been a single mother of a now 17 yo for their entire life. I had to work to provide and still take care of the house, prepare meals, attend events, practice pick up, and everything else. It's tough, and I think that it would have been easier to just stay home with my child. I also think that I may have missed some opportunities to strengthen our bond because I have to work, or maybe I would have had more children. However, I would never call being a stay at home mother "easy" if you have the ability and desire. Being a mother is the most rewarding job ever. My appreciation and support goes out to all of you. I would still choose to work because I actually love what I do and my chosen career allows me flexibility. It's not always about the finances, it's about what's best for you and your family.

You shouldn't feel guilty but the couple should discuss it to see if it's the best option for their situation and their goals.

I'm a single mom of two who works from home taking care of an elderly person. I live in Italy and I've been doing this for the last 5 years. Lately I've been needing a break and I did a quick calculation of how much it would cost to substitute me for a month...
The answer is €3546. I make €1200 a month..

I've been staying home with our daughter for the past two years, and it has forced me and my husband to become better versions of ourselves.

For some it's an option for others it's not. Crunch your numbers to reach your goals. Discuss this b4 you marry. If it's feasible & it's a desire make it a goal & prepare for it. Discuss responsibilities & never forget to pay in grace.

I always feel bad for being a stay at home mom. I guess, I am saving so much money with my three kids💰 🤑 😄😄😄

I did that. I added up everything I do and what the annual income would be for each job and it’s ridiculous how much money I should be making. But I do it out of love for my family and for the judgement of my peers and in laws

All of them should consider that none of their work at home counts toward their eventual social security payments.😢
