I suffer from cutaneous and systemic Mastocytosis. It's debilitating condition that damages me physically and mentally. I was diagnosed in 2009, had skin biopsy and two separate bone marrow biopsies and bone marrow aspiration. I do not wish anyone to have Mastocytosis. There's no cure for that and the therapies I had, including interferons chemotherapy have failed. Most of GPs don't even know there is something like Mastocytosis and they don't even know what it is. That's how rare it is. Thank you for educating others on this illness.

I was diagnosed at a year old with this, and I have systemic. It always makes me hurt; makes me super anxious etc etc. The symptoms go on and on.

5:02 Increased acid production in the stomach in case of (systemic mastocytosis) is due to increased release of histamine from degranulated mast cells in the stomach wall ==> increased stimulaton of H2 - histaminergic receptors in the gastric parietal cells ==> increased acid production .

I have spots all over my body and was told it was Mastocytosis. Now I have this rattle and pressure on my left lung when inhaling. Not sure if this can cause this or not but it sucks.. I don't know what to do. :/
