Now that is an interesting one! What is actually the FOV of the PSVR2? Thanks to the PC Adapter, we can now measure it with the apps that I always use for doing so! So let's measure it and compare it with the FOV of the Quest 3! Also in the mix: the Pimax Crystal! So in which headset do we see more?

Its amazing how a console based headset has overnight become the best true PCVR headset that you can buy right now, yes it may have a lower resolution than the highest priced headsets but the OLED panels and colour vibrancy really make up for that, I was surprised to see the FOV exceed the Valve index which really has until now been the benchmark for FOV without distortions, any Index owners sat on the fence have a great upgrade route and the PSVR2 also does not suffer from the Index's notorious lens glare either, Sony have a big winner on their hands here.

Managed to get a adapter lastnight and tried it with my 4070. Wow so stoked with the results. I'm really curious to see what gains the PS5 pro will give to it now because its apparent that the base ps5 is holding it back. Non the less I'm happy that I have a headset i can use on multiple platforms considering I play GT7 and now AMS2 and ACC. 🙏 Thanks for your honesty.

I think you have fallen back in love with the PSVR 2! I get the adapter today. Looking forward to it! Is adjusting the IPD an issue without the software assistance? I love that feature because it made it really easy for my 9 year old to set up.

Thomas( Voodoo) has way smaller FOV, but I agree, the PSVR2 FOV for me is pretty good

I'm upgrading to the PSVR 2 from the OG Vive with Index controllers - now I am actually curious if there is a way to use the Index controllers (since i have basestations) with the PSVR 2 🤔 I've seen a combo with the Quest 3 and Index controllers, just wondering if a similar setup could work with the PSVR 2.

Hello Sebastian, im still using the og Vive Pro, would you say the psvr2 would be a worthy upgrade? The resolution doesnt seem that much better.

Hey Sebastian, could you please do a video showing how to connect the PSVR2 to a laptop? You used one in the first video and I'm undecided between getting a desktop or gaming laptop, as it seems not all laptops will work with the adapter. I mean: what laptop ports work for the display port cable of the adapter, even if you need a different connection on the laptop end. If you have other laptops you could see what works and why.

Quest 3 Vertical FOV should be 94 as you had 86 for top and 102 for bottom (86+102)/2 = 94.

The issue I’ve run into is the adaptor is completely sold out every where day 1 😅
