I bought 2 of the Apple Lightning to Digital AV Adapters at nearly $50 apiece. I used Prime, Hulu, and Netflix. They worked good with IOS 15 but don’t work with IOS 16. I paid for the streaming and Adapter. Why can’t I watch on my TV thru my iPhone? It is the same streaming. I want my money back from Apple for their junk. If it’s the streaming service I will cancel and they can screw themselves. I’ll look else where. Getting tired of the soft porn when you just want a good story anyway.

I have this adapter for iPhone, could I also use it to output video/audio from a Macbook Air 2017 (Thunderbolt 2 port)? Is there a Lightning to TB2 adapter known to work for this setup?
Was hoping it may be a cheaper solution than tracking down the original Apple TB2 to HDMI adapter.

When I plug mine in to my iPhone and my computer monitor, I have no audio, it appears the audio is trying to go to the monitor which does not have speakers or any audio output. I tried using my blue tooth headphones, but as soon as I plug in the adapter the sound cuts out. I believe I will need to send this one back and get one that has a audio output on the adapter, otherwise I will be forced to use my TV and will not be able to use a screen monitor which was my main reason for getting it. I should have researched more before buying.

It doesnt’t work for me. When I plug it in it just says ”downloading accessory firmware” yada yada. Where is it downloading it from? The adapter? The internet? Doesn’t say how long it’s gonna take or if it’s finished. Do I need to have the adapter plugged in while it’s downloading?

I have gone through 4 of them over 2 years at $45 each but its bc i use mine so much the cord fux up on them but its well worth it to me and have never had a single issue my only complaint would be there's no doubt they could make them so the cords had no issues or at least add length to the cord
