I remember I gave Ryoma the radish the first time I played Birthright since I knew he was busted and I wanted him on the map to tank and hurt parts of the enemy army while my main army plays clean up. Too bad, even with dual wielding radishes, he was too strong.

ngl some of the "joke" weapons in fate are surprisingly useful. Some examples include:

cupid bow- if the boss is 1 range you can use this to spread exp around by healing them

many E-rank 1 might weapons are awesome for units that have questionable hit rate but lots of power, a bonus to avoid and the chance to crit and activate skills don't hurt either.

Parasol- a javelin for sword users is AWESOME!

the glass weapons of fe awakening hit hard and will disintegrate soon during battle.
