I bought the Miura 501 mb last week and they arrived yesterday. I've done 1 round so far and they're so easy to hit! I'm on 16hc, played for 4 years and am 59 yrs old. I came off M1s. I'm sold on them and don't let anyone tell you that you're not good enough for blades. My favourite part would be the sound.

I bought back a set of Honma TW// recently from Japan, absolutely love them.

Many words of truth here 👍🏻 my first set had I bought from a big brand had a 7 iron I couldn’t hit and it really screwed me up. A few years later I managed to buy some Muira CB501s and was obviously presented with custom clubs. During the fitting I was asked to use a couple of my own clubs and the fitter said please use the 7 iron and it turned out the lift and shaft were 5 irons. Using the Muira was like getting out of a Fiesta and driving a Bugatti Veron

Nice video, thank you very much for your efforts. Even for a Golf beginner like me was the video easy to understand. A very good source of understanding the mechanics of Golf a little bit better as well and how each club fits into my personal way of playing golf.

I bought the Honma TW737V in January. Has Mizuno MP5 and compared the Honma to the JPX919 Tour and Honma performance was better all around

Thank you for this good work. Its been a while but are you able to include Maruman Conductor and Edo's Epon blades in a new review. Thank you

Homna numbers sure looked better. Great feel and less dispersion. Bought a set for my grandson. He could not believe the buttery feel and distance he was getting.

Just ordered my miuras with elevate shafts today, was blown away by them and I've been a mizuno blade guy for years !! Highly recommend

The Miura and Honma have a strange retro look to me but Im sure they feel great.

Given the price points and having unfortunately never tried the honma or miura (though always wanted to try the latter but tried edel and other Japanese brands), and recently having tried many irons at same time with similar or same shafts - ranging from tm, ping, apex, jpx- am homing in on the z785s. Having had srixons before on balance like the feel, looks, good performance, workability and value.

Hey Russell. If you have time, please could you review the Miura MC 501's in more dept against the new TC 201's! Thank you.

Absolutely brilliant. At the end of the day when you’ve done everything physically possible with the mechanics of your swing and perhaps have to accept/come to terms with your physical limitations in terms of flexibility, swing and ball speed etc the only possible way you can gain or optimise your potential is by have a good club fitting session with someone who knows their stuff and can give you the best possible configuration of head, shaft etc to make you the best you can be. I really, really don’t think we amateurs realise or appreciate the difference these things can make. Let’s face it, if you were spending £1200 on a suit for your wedding you’d expect it to be fitted to you wouldn’t you. Same thing. The list is endless, flex, torque, kick point, shaft length, swing weight. Marginal gains is what it’s all about when you’ve done everything mechanical regarding your personal swing. I will definitely be coming down for my next set. Great content. Thanks.

Russell unique review ~ If you have to ask the price then you probably should not buy on two of the models ~ really enjoyed the video. Some people might find a blade 3 iron with tour loft 19 deg ish a bit of a handful but on baked hard fairways not a bad option .

Forgot to mention - Could you cover puring on shafts and custom build /set make up ie hybrid switch point for club sets with the up coming topics with club builder guy - great channel BTW 😀👍

I'm ready to buy the Srixon Z Forged, waiting on the Ping Blueprints to get released first. Personally I'd have liked to see you test MP 18, T//World Rose proto, Wilson's 2019 Blades and the Z Forged to go with the Miura's

It will be more interesting if you could do the test with addition of several teens handicapped players (between 12 to 18) do the test, therefore it will give more insight for many weekends golfers like me

I have hit the Srixon and Mizuno with the Modus 3 120S. IMO, the Mizunos felt better and more pure. Can't comment on the others.
