I'm Ghanaian but never knew what was inside those dungeons until I followed African American friends in there. I cried so much that since then I have not recovered from what I saw and heard.
I have started a movement for African Americans representation in Ghana's parliament.
Please don't come to Ghana as tourist but come in as family member.
Bringing you back has been in our schools curriculum since independence.

Sorry Mr. Narrator. Ghana is not the first country to offer citizenship to African Americans- SIERRRA LEONE is the first to do so. Sierra has given close to a quarter million citizenships to African Americans. We just don't do the big broadcast about that. But I applaud Ghana 's broadcast about the event.
