Показать описание
The untold story behind Ghana's historic offer of citizenship to African Americans and Caribbean. Africans all across the world have regularly felt a strong sense of compatibility for the past ten years. Since well-known celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Samuel L. Jackson and Whoopi Goldberg announced that their African origins were in Liberia, Gabon and Guinea-Bissau, respectively, an increasing number of people are learning about their African ancestry through DNA testing.
Recently, expatriate Africans have expressed a wish to make amends with their brethren back home. And while many people have successfully been to the homeland, a lot of others have been unhappy because a number of difficulties have dashed this desire, rendering this aim unattainable. One significant drawback is the outdated perception of Africa that existed before social media. Sadly, the perception that Africa is a dark, undeveloped continent has persisted among the majority of people in other areas of the world.
