Since first opening its doors in 2005, over 1,000 entrepreneurs have trod the Den’s hallowed boards. These next five memorable pitches remind us just how daunting the Den can be when you're stood in front of the Dragons.

#1 - 00:01 - Bee London pitches Weave Got Style, her hair extensions franchise.

#2 - 14:08 - Richard Bowness & Steve Tonkin pitch The Truncator, a log sawhorse that allows multi logs to be cut.

#3 - 25:58 - David Brown pitches Graffiti Artist, Art and memory go hand in hand with this enterprising graffiti artist.

#4 - 38:44 - Anne Hempstock pitches Cream Cutie, all-natural chocolate, and wine-based cream liquor.

#5 - 48:36 - Husband and wife team Liz and Alan Colleran pitch the Duvalay - a zip-up memory foam mattress and duvet combo.

An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

Theo: “If I want extensions, how much would it cost me?”
I’m surprised nobody burst out laughing at that point

I like how Peter is always genuinely happy for an inventor when they get a Dragon, even when he was not willing to invest himself.

With Bee's good looks and charm, and Hilary's Disney villain brain and 80's shoulder pads, they can't miss!

What I fail to understand is : If people have not watched Dragon's Den, how do they know to apply to Dragon's Den? If they have watched Dragon's Den - then they would know (a) know your numbers (b) don't over-valuate your business. I'm convinced that many people just go to the Den to promote their product on TV - free advertising.

Dragons Den would it be possible for you to do an hour of Jenny making an investment or is there not enough footage for that?

Felt bad for the first lady. She was really sweet but unfortunately really unprepared and uneducated in business. I hope she's doing well now, whatever she's doing in her life

The first person was one of the realest ppl I've ever seen on this show... They were thinking she was a fool because of the awkward start and then grilled her on all the jargon and whatnot, but she knew her costs, Peter was right, she was spot on w 75% margins, and she was making profit... She's not seasoned or educated in the traditional sense, but she found a good idea and is making bank doing it, good for her, hopefully she didn't let the dragons break her down.

Logger dudes went on to be quite successful with their products. Apparently won a national award in Scotland recognizing the product.

I see men in orange shirts and thought they would say : " we need 100 000 £ to bribe the guards, buy new passports and move to Caribbean islands..."

Checklist for going on the show:
1: Have your numbers in writing in a prospectus.
2: Be prepared to have your market scrutinized.
3: Do not have an attitude.
4: Be prepared to listen to the investors you intend to sell your product to.

To be fair to Bee, she was probably waiting for a producer to give her a cue

She should've been better prepared and known her numbers, but I kind of feel sorry for Bee. She seems kind, driven, open to criticism and very scared to fail. Bit sad to see her struggle. Glad she did get and accept an offer in the end!

It's great that these logging guys went on to see success, but the dragons also dont necessarily want to work every single successful business. They're right. The guy's attitude is pretty horrid when you consider that he has outright contempt for the dragons but wants their money and their time. I think the invention is a great one, but the pitch really was abysmal.
