The new trends are literally what made the glorious days of Flash websites 😂

I am all about usability/accessibility, so I won’t abandon that anytime soon. However, I am actively thinking of ways I can make the experience more playful.

Honestly this is one of the best ones I've seen yet. It focused on functionalities vs styles

Great video thanks for the update. I was thinking about new trends earlier today because i'm in website building mode.

Thank you so much for this great information. These trends are beginning to make me want to throw my whole 17-year design career away. The further we get into the future, the more I hate design

Almost all of these are new to me as being popular. I feel like I've been out of the loop for awhile, but honestly, may have been a good thing. Some things feel fresh again, which is exciting, challenging, and inspiring.
I gave up paying attention to trends because they were pretty much the same year to year.

Personally, I'm not a fan of music auto-playing, but regardless of trends, design for the audience you want/need to attract.

Gorgeous vid, thanks for the input! It takes real craft to make a video like this with such good examples, while not dwelving so much into the technical aspects. Makes it much more entertaining!🎉

Excellent video! I am so happy to see that music on a website is becoming more popular! I have added audio to websites and eBay stores since 2006! It adds a very cool touch to them just like the audio that I added to "Vin Diesel's Fan Club" site to create a cool effect with the car video at the main top of his site!

Wooooaaah.

Just had a lightbulb moment. That voice. You are The "Self-Made Web Designer".

It’s like a gym brother advicing on lifting weights is a former Olympian. Your podcast were so good brother.

God bless you.

Haha I love that you said "Its almost like designers were frustrated with the clients asking to make the logo bigger" 😂

Great examples here! And I love your focus on the goals of the website rather than just the visuals.

Every trend is engaging and worth considering as an idea. I especially like the concept of an interactive cursor and scrolltelling. :)

The scrolltelling might be the thing I’ve been waiting for, to finally push myself and learn to code

Heyy man, I just found you on YouTube, really like your vibe and the content is great! The background music is too loud for me, but maybe is something with my headphones. I remember myspace hahaa, with you the best
