Pancreatic cancer starts in the tissues of your pancreas, which is an organ in your abdomen located behind the lower part of your stomach. Your pancreas produces enzymes that aid digestion and hormones that aid in blood sugar management.
Early Pancreatic cancer may not have symptoms, and if they do appear, it indicates that the disease is in its late stage.
However, don't dismiss the warning signs, which include:
1. Loss of weight
2. Appetite loss
3. Constant pain in the upper abdomen
4. Stools in dark colours
5. Nausea and vomiting
.6. Diabetes
7. Jaundice

Can an ultrasound detect pancreatic cancer? Request anyone knowledgeable to please respond.

For the record, my ultrasound exams (2 done within a fortnight) say everything is normal.

Dark colored stools happen due to bleeding in upper GI track. PanCAN has nothing to do with it. Infact it's quite the opposite, in Adenocarcinoma, Cancer of Head of pancreas often stress against the bile duct which can make the stool pale in color or Light color stool.
However your urine will be Dark in color.
Also Pancreatic Cancer is asymptomatic until later stages. So rather than saying symptoms you should state symptoms within a stage time frame. Cuz People don't need to know the symptoms in the damn 4th stage, as it's already over for him.
State Stage specific symptoms.
The only real cure is surgery. So in order to be eligible for that, early diagnosis is crucial.
