Does this work if I connect to a Bluetooth radio transmitter? My car doesn’t actually have Bluetooth installed but I use a Bluetooth transmitter

Man not sure if it’ll work, had my car stolen 5 weeks and on my friends phone it’s showing parked car location which makes sense since I had it connected via Bluetooth couple of times

"Easier to drop pin" No-no-no-no! That's too much work. If I have to remember to do it each time that's ONE MORE THING TO DO. I buy electronics to make my life easier, not to DO MORE CHORES. The advertised feature... it should recognize your CarPlay/CarBT device, AUTOMATICALLY, like I'm moving and this wireless device follows, it must be the car. Then when the wireless device drops, owner must have just turn off the car, Bingo!

I used google maps to get somewhere and not the IOS maps app and it showed “parked car”. It was a life saver because I didn’t know the streets and had had a few drinks but my car at the time was an 80 camaro….not Bluetooth or anything for the phone to connect to…how the hell did it know?

I’m on iOS 11 on iPhone X and this features doesn’t work for me. I own a 1994 Toyota Corolla that has a Bluetooth speaker I installed. Someone said that it works like magic for them and they don’t have to worry about anything. They just needed to turn off the car and the maps app marked their location.
