I definitely didn't hate this one as much as a lot of reviews
Again though, the audiobook got me through. I think if I'd read physically I might have struggled

That said, I think it's a confirmed duology, but not sure I'll pick up the sequel. The ending didn't do much to get me invested in a sequel

I never read Spiderwick Chronicles but I did read books from the "Tithe" series, which I think was still better than BON, and it's YA whereas BON is adult.

I finally finished it at the start of 2023, spent months reading it. I thought it was dry on details too. Didn't care for it either. Good review.

You hair looks amazing in this style! I never planned on reading this book. No atmosphere, no creepy vibes that sounds no fun. I tried reading the cruel Prince book but only made it 30%. Not the glitter drip down 😂🫠!!

I too found it blah. I was interested to see she did with adult vs ya, but it honestly didn't read much different. Charlie's character was very heavy handed to me as well.
