I loved the Family values I grew up with LDS, but I've accepted that for 200 years we've been living a fraud. I'm gonna get baptized in a Local Lutheran Church ⛪️ 🙏

If the book of Mormon was true, and Jesus had actually come and preached to the natives, then wouldn't the natives had have those stories about Jesus taught to their children and passed down from generation to generation?

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. (Galatians 1:8)

I'm not mormon but you can find dirt on all the prophets. Anybody actually weather its fabricated or just norms of the era.. Just saying.🤷‍♂️

Smith referred to the "Book of Mormon" as "the most correct book of any on earth". Considering that thousands of changes have been made to the book in the last ~200 years, including even its title, maybe it should be called "the most corrected book of any on Earth". That might be more truthful.

I am currently dating a Mormon girl and come from a Christian background. I have struggled with the Mormon ideas and religion as a whole through talking to Mormons about it and talking to my father who has fairly well studied the Bible. This video has sort of further opened my eyes and is encouraging me to dive into the scripture and understand it more. Thank you! And this video is very well out and your arguments are backed by counter arguments and still proven by you. Very well put together. I applaud you

Galatians 1:8-9
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Joseph Smith debunked.

If Mormons believed in the Bible, they would believe in Galatians 1:6-9.
If Mormons believed in Jesus Christ, they would believe that because He died on the Cross, we do not earn our salvation from works whatsoever, according to Romans 3:10-12.
If Mormons believed in the Trinity, they would believe that God is three persons* in one, not as three separate persons.
If Mormons believed in Jesus Christ, then they should not be earning their salvation by works, that which Ephesians 2:8-9 clearly states.
If Mormons say they are Christian, believe in Jesus Christ, say they have the only truth and the Gospel, they would have tested Joseph Smith’s prophecy from an angel(like 1 John 4:1 says).

Now if any Mormon is reading this, I don’t want any misconceptions about what I’m for, and that is this:
I believe that God created the heavens and the earth, and that he made Angels—some that have even turned away—and humans. Those humans, Adam and Eve, were created to marvel at God and talk with him and live perfectly in the Garden of Eden; however, Satan had turned Adam’s and Eve’s heart to eat the Apple of Knowledge, and committed a sin, thus began the fall of man. This fall had broken God’s heart, and the relationship between God and Man was blotted by Sin. However, God has sent a prophecy and will help overcome the barrier between God and Man, and that prophecy is Jesus Christ. Jesus died on the cross and bore every sin onto himself as if he committed every single one of them. Later, he rose again, and has went up back to heaven to rule heaven once again. This is so that any, and I mean *any*, person that believes that this is true will truly have eternal life!

The three accounts of Paul's conversion in just the Book of Acts all say different things. The first says the men with Paul heard a voice, then in Acts 22 he says the men with him didn't hear a voice and then in Chapter 26 what Jesus tells him after he tells him to get up is totally different. In the first two accounts, he is told to go to Ananias. In the last he is told he will be going to the Gentiles.

But his contradicting account is in the Bible, so he'll get a pass hmmmm

The strangest part to me about mormonism is the emphasis on proper "translation" when we actually have the Greek and Hebrew scriptures. I've read verses to mormon missionaries in Greek with my interlinear Bible and they were a bit dumbfounded. What they're really trying to argue for is transcription, not translation. In which case why the need for extra revelation? Why not just a recovery of the original texts if what's been preserved for thousands of years is "flawed"?

The reason I personally don't believe that Joseph Smith was visited by the Lord God and Jesus Christ. Because that's not normal,   even the disciples never had this type of visitation.

Paul.had visitation but it was Jesus Christ directly confronted him, with a very clear and specific message.  Paul didn't bring any different messages but continued with same theme, thats why other disciples had no problems to accept him.

Secondly,   Joseph Smith was told to dug the earth to find the tablet with message.  I personally think it is mockery of our God who gave 10 commandments on the mountain with all that Holiness and reverence to God. Moses was called on the mountain, then why Joseph Smith was asked to dug the earth to find this tablet.

The book he wrote has no connections with the already given bible.

Lastly,   the bible in Hebrew 1, 1, 2 says in Sundry times God spoke to our forefathers through prophets but in these last days He has spoken to us through His son.

Very clearly that the Lord Jesus Christ was the last voice sent at the end of the age.

We know the period of prophets came to conclusion 400 yrs before the first arrival of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ came with the message of salvation.

Then he died to destroy the power of sin and death which caused people to be disobedient to the voice of God.

Jews utterly failed to please the Lord God almighty and take His name to the uttermost part of the world therefore they are out of picture. Prophets time ceased.

Therefore I personally believe those who came after Jesus Christ were not accepted by the Jew's nor by the christians. Therfore they remained antichrist.

Who is antichrist but who deny the divinity of Christ,   His crucifixion,   burial and the resurrection.

Just think about the following

Islam came 650 yrs after Christianity

Mohammad claimed that he was visited by Gabriel.  Obviously there is lots of controversy on that, because he didn't know what actually was happening to him. He was acting like he is demon possessed,   like he was having seizures etc. His wife khadija who.was 15 years older a Catholic nun told him that its Gabriel that has visited him.

Anyhow,   he claimed that Gabriel told him that Jew's and the christians have got it all wrong Therefore he must bring the truth.

Result Jew's and the christians rejected the claim because nothing sounded biblical to test this spirit. And we know the rest of the Islamic story.

Then comes Russell Taze who founded jehovah witness

He also claimed that Jew's,   christians,   and now  Islam added in the claim got it wrong.  No Jew's or the christians accepted the claim. They deny the divinity of Christ and don't believe that the Holy Spirit is a person and God.

Then comes LDS

Again claimed the same thing

Jews, christians, Islam, JWs, got it wrong and he must bring the truth.

Now we only have to decide who is right among themor all of them got it wrong because they didn't believe the finished work of the Cross.

Didn't believe that Jesus Christ came redeemed His people and went up after empowering them.with Holy spirit to carry on the great commission until He returns again.

I will leave this to  the readers.

If you want to live with Jesus Christ forever then simply embrace Jesus Christ and be busy in sharing the gospel and soon Jesus Will return and gather us to Himself.

God bless

Have you read the whole Book of Mormon? Tell me please, just this simple question, what is the over arching theme of “The Book of Mormon” (The Stick of Joseph)?

You know what's interesting? You cannot find a single Mormon video sponsored by the Mormon church that has any contrary comments. They simply won't post them. If you do leave a post, you will see it under your own account, but if you have a friend log in and go to the same video link, your comment will not be visible. What are they afraid of? This is, of course, a rhetorical question: They are afraid of the truth. Now that we are living in the information age and can now find definitive proof--with a few mouse clicks--that none of the Book of Mormon events actually happened, the Mormon church has kicked their propaganda machine into high gear. I wonder if it is having any impact.

A priest debunking a religious text as being made up seems ironic.

Jordan, thanks for your video. Would you consider having an LDS person on your channel to discuss these issues?

Amazing how Mormon theology changes with the wind. When US. Congress refused to allow Utah statehood, due to polygamy & pedophilia, God came to the Mormon church and told them to give up multiple wives & sex with children... In1978, Jessie Jackson led a planned Salt Lake City protest of Blacks non admission to the priesthood & the temple. 100, 000 Black men were organizing a protest in Utah of racist Mormon church teachings; Then, that same year, God then came to the Mormon church and told them black people were now okay. For 180 years, Mormon church taught hateful things towards Gays. Now in 2023, after bad press, God has told the Mormon church to back off the condemnation of Gays...Interesting timing of God's revelations & heat the Mormon Church was feeling.

I am concerned now about your information here... I am not a Mormon but was doing some studies on the religion that is why I viewed your video. My concern is that you have stressed that native Americans did not have any Jewish background. While visiting a North Carolina Cherokee area the State of North Carolina had a brochure that stated that the Cherokees were found to have the same DNA as the Jews.

So by your own statement if there is falsehoods found in one area then how can we trust anything that is said. So, how can we trust anything you are teaching?

Please, help me understand...
