Hey, I live in India and the education system here is a lot different than American education system. As a result, we don't have GPA system, honor system like valedictorian or salutorians in High school. As a matter of fact, we don't have AP classes or rigourous extra classes to take . I really want to get into an Ivy league, but I am unsure about how I am going to fill in these gaps which really affect my chances of getting into Honorable educational societies .

I've been in band since 6th grade and I do extra band stuff i.e jazz band and pit band

You’ll be fine at a state school, trust me. When you’re at a job nobody cares what university you graduated from, all they care about is can you do the job that makes the company more money lol! I got my engineering degree from Clemson & I have worked with guys who went to Cornell & MIT, they didn’t make more or less than I did. 🤷‍♂️
