I feel like the dynamic island is gonna end up same as the touchbar. They are gonna just forget about it and it will never get truly integrated.

 paid more attention to the vision pro more than the iOS this year, but I believe the same way they talked about Lock Screen last year, without telling us about always on display, I think more iOS 17 features will be added before September

I hate the dynamic island. Will never get an iPhone with it. Currently on 13Pro=solid device!

They have some good features on the IOS 17 BETA but I do not recommend to update it yet. The iMessage has a severe bug and so does google chats. The iMessage sends the message but you get failed to send when the person got the message. Google chats you do not get a notification when they send you a message. DO NOT UPDATE JUST YET. TOO BUGGY.

People heard about weeks ago that iOS 17 would be a minor update because they are going to fix a lot of bugs and improve battery live. The people were fine with that and happy.
Now they see that it’s the case and they are obsessed about it and want more features.
They are people with weak mind.

A feature that would be useful would be - once removing a text message from phone it also gets removed from your Apple Watch simple and affective feature. It’s tiring having to go back to the Apple Watch and delete messages again from the watch

Wasn’t the first rumors about this update was it was going to be a smaller update than previous years focusing on quality of life improvements

I definitely think locking apps is one thing that they should add and also change of notification and control Center because control center has too many things that need long presses. In the time you get to the Bluetooth you might as well go to settings in the first place control center is supposed to be quick settings, so having you long press for a lot of things makes no sense in that aspect They should also allow you to have different keyboard sizes and have a number row! Also, I definitely agree that More system notifications and applications like Siri or clipboard should live in the notification dynamic island, but I think regular notifications should be separate so that you understand the difference between a system notification like AirPods pairing and a message from Facebook, etc. but I do have a feeling that Siri is going to get a big software AI boostbecause the Vision Pro seems to be 80% about speech and voice input and the current version of Siri definitely does not understand quite enough to be Voice input navigation.

Man, it sucks. Instead of simplifying basic features, Apple made them more cumbersome - too many steps for simple actions.

This is only beta 1, not even the official release yet. I wouldn't expect everything to be perfect now, but I would expect everything to be perfect around the final release. Personally, I don't own a pro model, as the base model phone is acceptable for a normal user. However, I see the 14 pros to be cool if I have it with the dynamic island, and doesn't really need much more.

iPadOS 17 with three additional bug fixes updates but it still sucks. The most annoying thing is that the files and pdfs keeps disappearing in the files app. I’ve lost so many important files and notes and I don’t know what to do. 😭
And sad that nobody addresses these issues on YouTube.

On “AI integration” with Siri. Apple avoided the term “AI” completely at WWDC. This was obviously a conscious choice. They mentioned machine learning and transformer models and other technical terms that other companies would call “AI”, but I think they’ve decided (and I agree with this) that “AI” is a buzzword that doesn’t accurately describe what’s going on. I cringed at Microsoft mentioning AI like 10 times a minute at Build this year.

But saying all they did was take the “hey” off of “hey Siri” misses that they updated Siri to recognize multiple command in succession without using the wake word again. That’s a big update for Siri even if it’s playing catch-up with other assistants.

Siri is always going to lag a bit because Apple wants so much of the processing done on-device for privacy reasons. I try to appreciate it for what it is.

Well I don’t really want more android features I just want my iPhone to be less buggy I have battery widget issues Apple Music crashes and buggy music player on the Lock Screen and I’m on iOS 16.5 it’s gotten ridiculous fix issues features later

Yes! Icons are aged so badly now. They killed pre iOS 7 design after 6 years since original iPhone. Current design passed 10 years
