2023 BMW M2 First Drive | Honest Review

My First Drive in a 2023 BMW M2 courtesy of BMW Park Lane. I’m not convinced on the looks, and very confused by the way it drives in London! Not the most comprehensive test drive considering I had 60 minutes in Central London but fun to get behind the wheel!

I am not a coupe guy what so ever. However I think this front end looks good and is definitely better than the m3 grille… which honestly I’ve grown to like a bit too.

Saw one in the flesh at a local dealer a couplemof days ago. To me, it still looks bloody weird, kind of reminds me of a scalextric car i had as a kid where the body was too big for the chassis & wheels.
The previous M2 looked so good as well, one of the proportionally best looking cars of recent times.

I honestly think the only thing that sets you apart from other YouTubers/journalists is they quality of the videos. I don’t mean the content, or how you present etc. I mean the way the videos are put together. If you got yourself an editor with some nice creamy b roll and some music. I’m sure you’d be on par with STG and you’re a damn site more palatable than shmee. Keep pushing man I don’t wanna see you disappear off this platform ❤️ (I like making videos if you need an editor) 😂

Honestly, this m2 is beautiful. Like the g series m3/4, it's going to grow on people. Give it a year, and people will love how this looks. It's an amazing looking car especially in black

You drive a golf and your main concern when purchasing a car is it comfy and what mpg doss it do.
You don't drive fast and just potter around. Why are you even reviewing these cars?
You know as much as Sam and Tony you need to be looking at cars that suit you. Find something luxury as speed and track designed road cars ain't for you are they lol

Count me as one that dislikes the F87 compared to the G87. I think the F87 looks old, rounded and soft. The G87 on the other hand looks boxy and aggressive. I love that.

1.7 tonnes - wow. Used to have a 135i which just looked up weight and it’s 1539kg.
I am shocked how heavy these cars are.
R35 Gtr was mentioned and it’s 1735kg and I always thought it was way to heavy.
I’m confused by this.

Wasn’t keen on the 2 series in general from photos. Saw an M240i and thought it looked brilliant (in all black). I suspect this will look great also. Not keen on that blue though, doesn’t do it justice.

It’s not as bad in real life as the photos look, but it is huge. I parked my m2c next to it and it’s far bigger than my f87, and nowhere near as good looking.
