iPhone SE 2022 Unboxing & Review: WHAT Were They THINKING?!

Apple’s new iPhone SE 2022 is the small, low-cost phone that’s so good for so many people that it makes them question the very existence of $1,000 smartphones, and Apple has given it a refresh here in early 2022 that brings several of its features in line with the more expensive iPhone 13 at a fraction of the price. Apple sent one over the 3rd generation iPhone SE 3 for a hands on unboxing and review, and after using it for a few days, it's time to talk about it.

First, a quick iPhone SE history lesson. This is actually Apple's third iPhone SE. The first was released in March 2016 and kept the form factor of the iPhone 5 and 5S while having the internal power of the iPhone 6S. It was discontinued in September 2018, but it supports iOS 15, which means that phone supported 7 major versions of iOS. The second iPhone SE was released in April 2020, sporting the popular form factor of the iPhone 8 while matching the internal power of that years iPhone 11 devices. That 2020 version stayed around until this new 2022 model was introduced at Apple's Peek Performance event last week, where it also introduced the Mac Studio and new green colors for the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro. The new iPhone SE keeps that same iPhone 8 form factor, but sports the same A15 chip found in the iPhone 13 and 2021 iPad mini.

This is a great video. I am not a techy so I don’t need all the bells and whistles that the iPhone 13 offers especially since my SE 1st generation is still working okay, though I have to charge it every 3 hours. So I decided to get this new SE.

Lol I'm watching this review on my iPhone SE 1st gen which still works ok for it's again, yes the camera lacks and the battery life is getting horrible
But like any iPhone it still works, wish android would make a phone like that

I stupidly got an Android phone after having iphones since the 3. I had so many problems with my SE and iPhone 12 mini. Then I lost the 12 mini. I hate the Android phone and I'm looking at iphones again. I didn't know there were 3 generations of the SE. I just want to talk, text, email and search the web. I don't stream and not that picky about the camera. I just want a phone that works all the time and doesn't start doing things on its own like putting do not disturb on or moving my icons. I did like this phone and the familiar way it worked. I miss Notes and saving passwords in settings. Also you see how many calls and voicemails you have on the home screen. I want to buy this but I'm hesitant.
