That four wheeler was both skilled and *_lucky as sin_* to squeeze between two trucks and recover afterward.
Bet they didn't stick around with that phat load in their shorts.

Something to note for the other four-wheelers out there: Notice that the four wheeler only had brake lights on just past the cab and, after that, no brake lights - that driver KNEW how to recover from his traction loss and did so with skill.

A couple of decades ago when traveling east on I-70 I was following a truck with it trailer brakes smoking like crazy, We soon came to the scale at Dumont and when he stopped on the scale and was then ordered to park and come in with his paperwork. He parked his truck and trailer and started to go into to the office and the Patrolmen yelled at him to put the brake fire out. Yeah, that was a bad grade and that driver most likely never heard of using his jakes to slow his vehicle down. A driver who doesn't know how to use his jakes and/or gear down is a deadly hazard. In my day I have seen a few trucks go off the road and suspect either a heart attack or stroke. Elk Mountain Pass in the winter time with snow and ice and gail force winds one always sees van drivers trying to keep the high speed and always in danger of having their vans blown off the road. Stupidity at the max.

Oh and can we give some props to the four wheeler. That was kind of cool. Reminded me of Jason Bourne.

I drove in bad weather today with a lot of truck traffic and I am so happy to be home safe. I would not want to be a truck driver in bad weather this days. Some roads are so bad this days.

Swift driver should go to hospital and get check up. He should get a lawyer.

Received my cdl 1997 worked for KLLM 2 years. Then drove for Greyhound bus lines 10 years and now with Swift 13 years.Over 1 million miles accident free.Swift was the only company to accept me back into trucking without a refreshing school since I was a Motor coach driver for 10 years. Comfortable with Swift and will not go anywhere else.Be safe out there to all truckers...

I am glad no one was injured or worse. I have a dash cam and it has paid off for me twice.

I use to run flatbed for Swift and I always loved when some super trucker would be talking shit on the CB but meanwhile can't keep their truck between the lines. That or when we pull into a truck stop to go park and I get right in my spot then just sit there and provide constructive criticism over the CB as the same driver who was talking shit on me struggles to back into a spot.

Some days I definitely miss it but over in happy I left.

I'm so happy for both the Semi Truck driver's and the other driver ( that almost lost control ) are all okay. I'm going on 7yrs this November driving Semi Trucks and I travel on I-15 every Friday night into Saturday morning delivering Mushrooms to Las Vegas and Utah for Monterey Mushrooms in Watsonville, California. I always make sure to maintain my speed at 40 - 45 mph going down hill Northbound and Southbound in that area. I don't care if other truck driver's get upset with me for not going faster. Safety is my top priority out there whether I'm driving a Semi Truck or a 4 wheel vehicle.

That’s crazy af! Just minding your own business and a truck can just hit you out of nowhere. Every time this happens they get closer to self driving trucks.

I’m an old-school outlaw but I do have a dash cam and have had for about six or seven years it’s no longer your word against theirs when you have one it’s just covering your own ass honestly it’s a smart thing to have

Dude my freightliner auto braked(hard braking) when it Sensed an object on the road, happed 3 times. Also my ABS locked while driving in the rain, my truck slid for 20ft(luckily i was nearby a stop light going 20 mph), it barely stopped from hitting another truck. I like to hear the other dudes story, before I make a full opinion.

I've noticed lately Crete, Shaffer is back running 70 mph plus on quite a bit of their trucks and you can tell they are throttle happy.
