Crysis 3 Remastered - Xbox One S|X & Xbox Series X|S

The game uses Dynamic Resolution Scaling for One X, Series S, Series X. One S doesn't use dynamic resolution.

One S: 900P
One X: 1080P-2160P
Series S: 900P-1440P
Series X: 1080P-2160P

- Lowest in the resolution ranges from DF as I didn't find them
- DRS is quite aggressive to achieve desired performance.
- One S was challenged with 30 FPS during explosions in the first chapter, no DRS to help out
- One X was showing up to 2160P in-game footage while on the move, during the first chapter I saw as low as 1296P right after two explosions.
- Series S seemed to be at around 1080P most of the times
- Series X comparable with One X resolution-wise
- Small differences here and there for Series X (shown in the footage)
- One S and One X seem to have a control bug were there is some movement without actually touching the controller
-The game runs in backwards compatibility mode
- HDR support for all consoles
- Footage is fully HDR, it can take up to 24 hours for this options to become on available on a supported device/browser

I think regardless of system your in for a treat. Crysis 3 on Xbox One X looks incredible, as for 30fps, when its rock solid and combined with motion blur it doesn't appear any different to 60 and plays perfectly fine. 60 fps is defo my preference for online multiplayer in FPS and racing.

What a great comparison video! Can really see the differences with this game. Xbox One X looks better than Series S in many games, but then the framerate is 30 fps what i really can't play anymore. I have a SERIES S but will defo get a series X when available it's like putting on your glasses for the first time lol so clear. On series S the foilage seems to run in lower framrerate and resolution, see the waving grass.

WOW! Xbox One X holds up very well compared to Series X in terms of graphics the only difference is 60 fps vs 30 fps. thank you very much for a great video, you are the new Digital Foundry 👍

Feel that it is unnecessary to buy the Series X console when you already have the Xbox One X, so I will wait a few years until the PRO models are released and then hopefully with more storage space.

Very cool video. 60 fps is pretty sweet on the new gen consoles (100+ on PC is even better 😉). However, still not enough to justify $500 or HIGHER (#FnScalpers) for the Series X just yet. Plenty of life still on the Xbox One X... 30 fps be damned. lol. "Worst" Case? Play it on my Series S (primarily used as an emulation machine). Will wait another year or so for the MID GEN UPGRADE. Subscribed.
