Blender 2.8 Pie Menu Python Tutorial

I added a Pie Menu to my Blender 2.8 Fast Carve addon. In this video I show you how to use it and we also will have a look at the Python implementation.

I really like the FastCarve addon and use it frequently. Have you considered adding a single button to the addon that centers the origin of the selected object on the bottom-most face and sets the object to the floor(z=0)? I do this manually frequently and a single button would be nice. The "Easy Align" addon does this with a button called "To Floor." I think it would make a nice addition to your addon.Thanks.

Thank you for all your amazongly good videos..i still don't dare to do or modify a single line of python .. but every video i see from you is excelent and this is not different. One topic you may talk about is about how to make physics simulations now that blender don't come with that option? Is it possible or is now a task for other software?

New feature suggestion: Arch primitive

It's a bit awkward using fast carve for an arched doorway or window.
I tried a circle primitive, then I pulled the bottom vertices down to a common bottom line.
Another way is to create a rectangular box and bevel the top edges, but that doesn't
look like an arch (see bottom left of image).


So I suggest a new primitive shape ---> 'Arch'
Use the D key to move the horizontal line downward.
The shape of the arch could be controlled by the coefficient k
in the equation y=k/9 sin x , k=0, 1, 2 ...9
though arches aren't sine waves.


I know it would be a lot of work for you but it might be useful.
