The premium guy used "iClone Character Creator" and didn't do anything himself. The software basically gives you that model by default. He just changed the skin color. Regarding the clothing, all those assets are downloadable for free.

The Basic guy who did the Low Poly and the Standard version guy who won this competition, they both manually made everything themselves. These are the Top Gs.

Btw I'm a 3d artist myself with over 10 years of experience, that's how I know all this.

My experience with Fiverr is weird when it comes to art and 3d models. Finding trustworthy sellers can be a challenge depending on what you are looking for

A lot of "3D artists" who make characters on Fiver for anything below 1K are simply using premade character generators and slap some very basic and/or bad clothes. Usually the UVs are shit, topology is shit, basically everything is shit.
You cant expect a character which is easily the hardest part in 3D for such a low amount of money unless its some really low poly artstyle.

Bless you for thinking $150 is a premium price for 3D modelling. The two winners were insane value as $150 is still a very low price for 3D modelling services.
