Yes the word quality comes to mind. The little time I’ve been doing detailing, this is still 1 of my favourite brand. I love the Foam & shampoo “bathe” especially. Even the bottles they using now is great, improved a while ago from the older bottles. This show the company is always improving on ALL they products.

Brian-Just a quick question. The Gyeon Prep manufacturer video says to was the car first with dishwasher liquid because the prep does not remove all greases and oils from prior polishes. I found this very disappointing news. After a thorough wash and clay I sprayed Gyeon Prep liberally on the hood, wiped it off after 30 sec but it seems the wax combo of carnuba and Griots 3 in 1 ceramic spray may still be on the car as the black finish still has lustre and smoothness. What should I do now? Can I move ahead with your ceramic coating or do more to strip the old wax? Thank you!

Brian, does this product take new glaze and wax off a car?I'm going to use the jescar/collinite duo but I have a brand new truck that I put mirror glaze/butter wax on from chemical guys.it is garage kept.do I need to take the chemical guys products completely off before applying the jesco/collinite845.i worked my butt off on applying the chemical guys stuff so I'm hoping I don't have to but I gotta try this jescar combo out!!if I have to take it off please recommend a product also.thanks and keep the videos coming.

Hi Apex, off subject question. Have you ever used a Lake Country Foamed Wool Buffing Pad for cutting? What are your thoughts on it? Also, What is your favorite brands/type/size pad(s) for general first step cutting? Thanks

If I spray carpro tar x and iron x to decontaminate the paint do I need to use gyeon prep? Not polishing or claying

There's been lots of debate whether these stuff like Gyeon prep or carpro eraser are worthed considering the price of both products.

Thats why many detailers now choose a simple yet easy to get product..sthing like PREP-ALL wax and grease remover, they say that these prep-all stuffs provide results more or less the same with Gyeon or carpro which is a naked oil free panel ready for LSP...but cost way way way less than a dedicated detailing prep products.

What are ur insights about this Brian?

Brian, do you prefer to use a product like Gyeon Prep or CarPro Eraser over an IPA solution? Is the cost worth it? Thanks!

I have heard of Gyeon pronounced "G-On" but have never heard of Geyeon "Gee-On".
