Here is a quick tutorial on how to modify a CS lens to make it permanently corrected to cut infrared light.

This link will take you to where I bought the 9.5mm IR cut filters.,

I tried to attach the IR cut filter but I did not use a toothpick and I got glue all over the lens. The toothpick is essential.

Thank you for this video. I actually wanted to shoot timelapse with infrared light. I have tried several non Brinno CS mount lenses (without IR cut filters), and whilst they do of course allow IR through, I have found them all to be really bad quality in terms of sharpness, particularly at the edges of the frame. So I have just bought (not arrived yet) another second-hand Brinno BCS019 lens on ebay, the plan being to remove the glued on IR filter so this lens can be used for my IR timelapses. How do you rate the quality of non Brinno lenses? Or did I just buy bad ones?
