I loved Tony Newley. I worked with him over about 10 years. From childhood to 20’s in London and Broadway….

He was a great artist, hearing him compose, joining him in song on stage was a privilege & huge learning experience. I miss him terribly.

I saw Mr. Newly in NYC on Broadway in the late fifties. I saw him in a play, “Stop the World, I Want to Get Off”. It was a one man play. He was brilliant. So talented. 🥰👍

One of the world's most outstanding but underrated (how unjust!) singers and performers, Anthony Newley deserves accolades and undying admiration from our present and future generations, so thank you for posting this valuable footage. Glad to know that the great Barbra Streisand has featured and praised him effusively in a duet during her 2016 concerts and in her Encore cd. His Ed Sullivan show's youtube footage of this immortal song, one of his many iconic and riveting compositions with Leslie Bricusse, should not be missed. Please watch it on youtube and your musical and cultural experience will be so much richer, as mine was and will be for all time.

I Love You Anthony Newley!!! That was awesome and unexpected. I admit I was excited when it first started because I thought he was going to sing it as Cocky from Roar of the Greasepaint, which I would love to see. No disappointment here... lol What fun! You can't help but smile all the way through that. :D
