Helpful yes. But I was after a description of what a water regulator looked like. I can guess, but It would be cool if you could show which of these elements is the regulator. The one with a dial I assume?

This is a good video, any chance I’m on a wild goose hunt? I mean to say what are the odds we don’t have one? Any way to tell?

The picture you redlined showing a valve just past the meter box in the ground, might be a shutoff and not the PRV. Its been my experience as a superintendent that the valve just past the water meter is typical a main shutoff to the house. There would then be another shutoff typically as the water line enters the garage or basement. Past that would typically be your PRV. That just my experience in the Georgia area, I could be wrong about the picture as it is difficult to see for sure what it shows. Enjoyed the video.

what does that mean if you have a sprinkler system its probably not down stream from a water pressure reducing valve? I cannot find mine anywhere!
