Press Release:
Today, Apple TV+ revealed the trailer for the second season of “Silo,” the world-building, global hit drama based on Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy of dystopian novels. Created by Emmy-nominated screenwriter Graham Yost, who also serves as showrunner, and starring and executive produced by Rebecca Ferguson, the 10-episode second season will premiere globally on Friday, November 15 on Apple TV+ with the first episode, followed by one new episode every Friday through January 17, 2025.

“Silo” is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and those who try to find out face fatal consequences. Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer who seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.

The suit technicians upon hearing his story be like "Huh? We did? We made new tape?"

Bernard knows he can trust Judge Meadows because she's not hungry for power. He doesn't trust Sims.

Something I’ve noticed now is that the silo Juliet entered is much more artsy than the one we saw in season one. Nearly every wall other than the ones we saw in this silo’s IT has some sort of design painted on it. Perhaps this doesn’t mean much but the potential cultural disparity between the different silos intrigues me, even if it ends up having minimal narrative impact.

Bernard is actually right outside it dangerous and if u go outside you die he looks like the villian but he is keeping everyone alive

Knox second ask was likely: “If I ask you to make weapons, make them”.

Why do I feel like Bernard is going to give her the bad tape

I get why they did it this way with 2 completely separate episodes. But, I get it now, I hope the rest of them are spliced with some of the story from each location

Enjoyed the episode. So many questions to answer and that is the way I like it.

wow to see the word raider in the order book. always bugged me that judicial had guns, violates basic separation of powers. i had just assumed that the pact was a euphemism for martial law that resulted from the earlier rebellion. but to see it in the original blueprint/plan, like seeing janitorial surveillance and the camera space built in behind every mirror. wow

Did anyone else notice that the silos are subject to oversight from OSHA?

Bernard can send group with full supported suit to bring Juliet back and show all what the status outside and everyone will know the truth and keep calm and the story will end.😂

My and I enjoy your podcasts immensely. Your insight and comments add to whatever show we view. We don’t always agree with each point but we respect them. Cheers!

After 25 years of drinking, the judge should have had severe withdrawal symptoms. 🤷‍♂️
The best way to scare people from going out would be to show them the video of the thousands of dead bodies around the other Silo.

Tanya Moodie as Judge Meadows is terrific! Tim Robbins is just plain creepy. Ultimately, I want to know when and why the silos were created and who created them. I hope that gets answered otherwise I'll be disappointed.

Notice Bernard saying that seeing those bodies outside "Looks like the silo went to war with itself." And that it could happen in their silo. Did "The Rebellion" really happen, or is that just a story that's passed down? Are they really putting stuff in the water to make everyone forget, like Gloria Hildebrandt says?

The switch between the different silos is very much the style of the second book.
I wonder if the rest of the episodes would be done the same way.
