This is how you could easily set the units in Blender. When you're designing something for 3D printing you'll usually want to set the units to millimeters. However, to avoid having to set the units. Every time you start a new project, you could save the settings as a default.

Thank you for your consise tutorials.
As you obviously know, blender is extremely daunting with all the buttons and scary terms.
One technique at a time as you need, before you know it, expert level 😎🖖

Thank goodness I found your video. It was annoying me that I had to change this every time. The step I was missing was saving the file as default. I would of figured this would have been something that would be set in Blender's preferences menu. This was very helpful, thank you.

I really think Blender should have a popup menu first time you open it to set this as default. Thank you.

Thank you! I'm working on small parts, not Revit scale arch files!

thank you. I didn't do this, so I had to print the bottom layer of my project multiple times to get the correct fit. 🤣

Hello, can i ask, why you changed UNIT SCALE to 0.001 after choosing LENGTH in mm?
Like mm doesnt change units, it is just change the name and if i will print it will be still in meters?
