The Stage 4 theme from Touhou 11: Subterranean Animism

I forgot that Orin's meow isn't a part of the original theme...

I really came here expecting to still not like this theme, but again I was surprised by how much I actually enjoy it. I really like the main instrument here (whatever it is). I don't know what the technique is called, but the repeating note at 1:29 is really addictive. Everything comes together to create a really eerie, but lonely feeling - fitting for a mansion of animals.

Upon listening to this a few times I really took notice of the part at 1:47; I had never noticed or paid any attention to the harpsichord (is that it?) supporting the main melody, it's so delicate. The whole theme actually makes me think of lace - I suppose it's a gothic-style theme, so that makes sense.

This is my favorite song in the entire series. It has a somber and lonely tone that’s fairly rare for Touhou, and it really matches the loneliness that comes from Satori living underground. It’s a song I come back to listen to again and again, and I always feel myself swept away by its pure emotion.

I love how Satori and Remila shares similar traits but living a totally different life style.'

Both own and lives in a huge castle like faculties and everything.Remilia is having a happy luxurious life and takes pride and pleasure on what she does while Satori lives a somber serious one and takes her role seriously and both have some seriously mean powers i.e Altering fate and Mind reading and have sister issues.

I really like this Stage 4 theme! It has an eerie and lonely atmosphere. It isn't as grim as the other SA themes from before, because I still can feel a sense of being at home, which is a bit weird. That's what I feel about this track, it's kinda odd, but I really enjoy it anyway. Btw, I've just realized that this theme sounds more Western than usual. It really fits the stained glass aesthetic from the Palace of the Earth Spirits.

One of the most criminally underrated Touhou themes of all time. It's my second favorite theme of all, first place being Last Remote. I still listen to this a few times every day.
