Zaslav seems impatient. See Killar and Sarnoff out the door even before the merger becomes final. Zack loves DC he would never let go while there is a chance that he can get it again. Aside from that, money wise, c'mon, how much will he get with Netflix versus theatrical releases of his DC movies? And with JL's performance crashing servers around the world and hitting #1 sales across all media, while still streaming at HBO MAX, Zaslav looking at all that money WB left on the table. I doubt if he'll wait years before getting his hands on it all. I'm hearing aside from Shazam and Black Adam, everything is on pause until Zack signs on the dotted line. It doesn't mean he will be in charge but it seems the projects are being re-aligned to give Zack an avenue for MOS 2, JL 2 & 3 and if we're really lucky Affleck's Batman movie.

Zack Snyder said it will only take 3-4 weeks to shoot Rebel Moon 1 and Rebel Moon 2 back to back. Planet of the Dead filming isn’t happening until late summer or early fall because it takes forever to build all the practical’s for Zack Snyder zombie movies but all the filming for these 3 movies will be done this year.
