After Zack Snyder's Justice League's HUGE opening weekend, WarnerMedia CEO Ann Sarnoff (in an interview with Variety) has pretty much dashed all hope of a SnyderVerse restoration anytime soon, let alone an Ayer Cut of Suicide Squad... like the title says - we think this is PRETTY FOOLISH!!

I could respect WBs decision if they had literally any kind of alternate plan to offer instead of what Snyder had, but they don't. The mutiverse is just an excuse for them to throw random crap at the wall to see what sticks. When they asked this CEO who was in charge of DC movies going forward she basically said everyone involved, which is basically the same as saying no one. It's a complete joke they literally don't have a clue about DC.

WB's reaction to this confirms what I already believed. It wasn't WB that greenlit the Snyder Cut being finished and released, it was its parent company AT&T that oversees HBOMax that overruled them. WB and people like Jeff Johns HATE Snyder's vision and want control over the DCEU, they don't want to see his vision or give over control to him. It's always felt as though after BvS they wanted rid of him and when his daughter's death happened he probably was willing to complete the movie but it always felt like WB saw it as some kind of opportunity for them to fire him off the project without looking like the bad guys. Now, even with the audience reaction to The Snyder Cut, and even moreso because of it, they won't let him back in because that would be them admitting that they were wrong, same reasoning for the Ayer Cut of Suicide Squad.
