Saw it. Amazing. This documentary is *REQUIRED VIEWING* for anyone interested in VFX, 3D art, digital art, working in an art department, anything even tangentially related to that.
It's INCREDIBLE how much tech and software were pioneered there. Everyone from digital artists to content creators all owe George Lucas and all the ILM Wizards a giant debt of gratitude!

My fav moment is in episode 5 where Ron Howard is all like "Oh gee, oh gosh, how are we gonna do this effect?" and Dennis Muren just puts shades on and says "It's morfin time!"

Exactly the kind of Plus content that we should see more on Disney Plus! Maybe an educational category that shows the history of our beloved Disney Studio's and their process af making ART.

This made me giggle with joy. I'm a photographer and videographer and a user of Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro. I'm also 47 going on 48 the same age is ILM LOL.... and HUGE Star Wars fan.... ILM has been in my entire life!!!

This is such a beautiful and inspiring documentary series. The intentionally deceiving Walter Cronkite interview made me laugh my ass off. Phil Tippet talking about his personal journey, his art and his dedication was incredible. I’m such an art nerd and this gave me such an education on the history of so many talented people in so many different mediums. Highly recommend this to anyone at any age it is fantastic.

This looks great! There's been many behind-the-scenes, "this is how it was done" documentaries but very few delve into the people involved and the insane creativity and brilliance required to bring to life something that literally has never been seen before.
