I think he did a great job. He directed the actors and the drama, and let the other professionals (the geeks) take care of the fights, special effects, production design, wardrobe, etc. And I must add that this was the FIRST time the 3D didn't "bother" me.

@overload81 There's already been talk of a Thor 2 before this even came out. If it does well at the box office (which, given this week's competition and the general hype around it, I assume it will), we'll probably see it.
