Im not a very privacy concerned individual but if anyone who thinks that adding a black box to their internet that intercepts and pass through all your internet traffic which received funding from a lot of big corporate companies and think they are decentralized, safer or more private are deceiving themselves. This device just added an extra point of attack to your network making it less secure. As for decentralized, doubtfully as deeper network will controls the network. Turn of the lights at deeper and so goes the network eventually, but thats just an uneducated guess on my part.

How did you prevent others from using your Ip to do bad things? I like the concept though. Does it work on isp that use cg-nat?

Does it make you select a specific location? For example, you want to connect to the state of Florida, can you select it or it choose randomly from the states.

I really like this project, for the people concerned about the whole sharing thing, you don’t have to share your data, u can just use it as a free VPN, however I should note that the helium mining aspect is no longer available and will probably not return anytime soon because of the large gaming problem they had with their helium miners

I've been using the Deeper Connect Mini since November and while I like the privacy features the "mining" aspect is very frustrating. You have to stake tokens to get on the blockchain and then you have to share bandwith to increase your credit score. You have to share at least 10MB bandwith for 2 consecutive days to increase the credit score by 1. The higher credit score the more you earn. One day I'll share like 30MB and the next day it will be like 1 MB which means no score increase. I've only increased about 50 points since using this device. Seriously frustrating 😡

it's a cool idea, I have been using one since November, but the mining part is frustrating and unstable if you cant use a static IP address(Most ISP won't give static I.P addresses to residential addresses) so bandwidth sharing is hit and miss. They lost their option to mine helium as helium revoked their certificate to issue miners, that was a sad day.

If someone uses the connection for something shady, you can prove it was due to the traffic share...but you will be investigated so I sold mine off
