Lee Kuan Yew Fund for Bilingualism has contributed $27m to 200 projects over last 10 years

The Lee Kuan Yew Fund for Bilingualism has contributed $27 million to 200 projects over the last 10 years. Education Minister Chan Chun Sing, who marked the 10th anniversary of the fund, said the hunt is always on for innovative ways to help children learn two languages. He added that bilingualism is core to Singaporeans' national identity. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said the country has been able to sustain the bilingual policy for more than half a century, with good results.
