Mr. Barkley, an anthropomorphic dog English Bulldog, gave his students a challenge: to create Super Mario characters entirely out of jelly beans and present their work in the classroom.

His three students, anthropomorphic cats—Murphy (a Bengal Cat), Oliver (a Chinchilla Silver Scottish Fold), and Luna (a Mitted Ragdoll)—each crafted their own creations:

Oliver made a Yoshi out of jelly beans and also crafted Bowser, both of which were approved by Mr. Barkley.

Luna created Mario holding a fireball and a Toad in a power-up pose, both made from jelly beans and approved by Mr. Barkley.

Murphy attempted to craft a Monster Turtle from jelly beans but failed, as it ended up looking more like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle instead.
