This should have been a sequel instead of a remake . The aliens should have returned to make good on their initial warning years earlier but instead we get this ludicrous crap from the humans of " we can change " .
Throughout the movie we hear Reeves state that there is nothing he can do to stop the extinction process yet he somehow violates the directive form the federation of planets and stops the process ?
then there is the chinese alien scene where he implies that only humans can experience love and the alien races can't like Spock from Star trek .
