That's a good decision in my opinion. I find it really strange when people make a dumpster out of their cars. Papers, garbage, crumbs etc. everywhere. The "rental car"-mentality is really inspirational.

I have a Fit. Is a nice small big car. I try to keep it decluttered but the boot has a blanket and a bag of shopping bags because I lug around stuff for production. It has no stickers yet I just want the perfect one up. Hahaha.

Use a hairdryer to heat up the FIT decal and it is easily removed. Love your minimalist no-nonsense approach to life 👍

Nice and clean Jeff, how about first aid kit, fire extinguisher, spare sunglasses, spare jacket, extra water, ‘mechanix’ gloves?

In the glove box, I've left the car and insurance IDs (common in Brazil), my fuel consumption notes and a little bag with baby wipes, a toilet paper, two flash lights and batteries for them and for my garage controller.

I've filled the consoles with felt pads, the garage controller, sanitizer, 2 umbrellas and market bags. It avoids noise.

In the trunk, only a paper box.

Not as much minimalist as yours, but still an efficient setup.

Instead of plugging an auxiliary cable on your phone, I think you had better plugging a Bluetooth transmitter on your AUX port via USB on a 2-in-1 charger on the 12v outlet so you can let your phone charged and use it with handsfree. There are many of those adapters sold on Amazon and eBay.

Honda Fit is a great car. Ive owned two, bought new since 2007 and was crushed when I learned Honda in US is not selling the new fit which will only sell overseas. Big mistake HONDA.
