How To Stop Firestick Buffering in 2022 (Simple but effective)

Buffering is something that can become very annoying, yet the fixes are very simple yet effective. So I made a video to show you how to stop Firestick buffering in 2022.

Buffering is most commonly associated with poor internet or wi-fi, but a lot of the time this isn't the case. In this video I will show you six different methods to fix buffering that are simple but effective. So hopefully this video of how to stop Firestick buffering in 2022 is useful.

Watch out for firestick connecting to 2.4GHz not 5GHz on a dual band router. Seen a few times performance issues caused by it being on the wrong frequency. One tip is if the router or access point supports multi SSID binding, dedicate an SSID to 5GHz only to be sure anything connecting remains on 5GHz. So you have two wifi SSID's showing e.g 'mywifi5' 'mywifi24'.

To stop buffering I clear the cache, force stop background apps, switch from wifi to ethernet connection, uninstall apps not being used, upgraded to Nvidia Shield, use Real-Debrid, installed IP Vanish, upgraded internet package, unplug both modem and Shield once a month for 5 minutes. Hope this helps.

use fire stick edge on in a verticle plain, perpendicular to router, definitely not horizontal, will help hold onto your signal and cut back on it trying for twenty or so neighbours wifis
