Indian here. The protests didn't ONLY happen in India. Here in America, we are protesting. I went to one of the protests, and there were lots of people there. We really need justice!

Edit: If you want to see drama and war, go to the comments.

Edit 2: I have tons of likes, and annoying people in my singular comment. Would you count the replies as a protest?

If anyone from any other country is also watching this please support us in this fight for getting our sister justice 🙏🏻 The only way to get justice in this case is to mount widespread international pressure. National outrage is not enough. Please don’t stop talking about this case. This case has exceeded all boundaries of horrific.

There is more to the
It's not just about safety of doctors, it's also about justice which is not yet served to the female doctor who fell victim....
The state government of west bengal tried to suppress the incident and that's why people protested and now as a result, case is moved to CBI for investigation....
Also, the guy that was arrested was not the only person involved...The brutal act was done by at least 8-10 people(confirmed by post mortem)

For people who don't know what happened, she was graped and m*rdered, when she was heading home from a long 36 hour shift.

The Sad thing is, that was not the end of sufferings, not just that girl, here in Mumbai it happened again. 😢

In badlapur, mumbai, a three/four year old girl was hurt by a 23 year old when she went to washroom *in her school*, the guy was apparently a cleaner(which everyone is questioning why a male cleaner was assigned to girls' washroom in school). The girl totally shook by the incident told her parents that her stomach hurts, not knowing what happened to her. The parents took her to doctor next day and found the truth. Also, the guy did this to another girl.

It is so disheartening that today when i was traveling for academic reasons early morning around 5am, it felt so unsafe. I was being absolutely concious of my surroundings and the people constantly.

How can someone expect us to live in such conditions and say you should have worn proper clothes, stayed home at night.
Like c'mon that's not even our fault. What was wrong with wearing a school uniform in broad daylight? What was wrong when a doctor was wearing her coat on perfectly covered clothes and was lying after her 36 hrs service to the society

The silence is deafening as no ine answers.

Its the attitudes of Indian men that need change. Not only in India but everywhere.

It's depressing how those doctors, people who heal others, are treated just because they're women.

D€ath penalty for the horrible crime should be advocated. It's a shame that people even get garlanded once they come out of the jails after committing such horrible crimes. The Indian media just casually dodges like it never happened.

There needs to be a special national taskforce to prevent and brutally punish sexual abuse

Why is everyone ignoring the fact the monsters who did those horrendous things to a female doctor were, in fact, doctors too from powerful backgrounds😀

This isn't a doctor's problem. This is a societal and cultural problem nobody is willing to do anything about 💀

FINALLY! People start protesting! But its isnt just for doctors but for entirety of women in india! Im very ashamed of their goverment! The victim trainee doctor still didn't get justice, and theres a lot of other ultra sensitive case that i can't say here. Im wishing good luck and ofcource protection for protesting people and i also wish those real abusers will got their karma and rot to jail
