Lol something is wrong with my ps4 it's says 0% after I restart 4% then after like 10 seconds 100% now I'm stuck on 100%

For anyone having this issue your reason for the problem may be different or the exact same however I fixed the issue i was having where it says “copying application” but stopped loading... So I want to share how I fixed it. Turns out all I had to do was wipe the disk off of dirt/prints so the ps4 could read the disk better. Hope this helps someone

Another thing that fixes this is turning the PS4/5 completely off and then press and hold the power button the console until you hear the second beep and it takes you to a recovery menu where you can select rebuild database which basically resets the PS4/5s temporary storage thing which consists of how many updates are running, what progress the update is at and how many games are installed and where they’re located and if they’re in folders ect

Usually resetting the database always works it does not however delete anything from your console so it’s 100% safe and I would recommend it :)

I am stuck on 4%/// Update ! Restart your ps4 while copying and then it will be moving slowly but it may take like 5 or 6 hours sometimes 3 or 4 it’s worth than nothing

Mine takes 10 minutes to prepare the update 😑😑😑

i've found a way. just have it save to "extended storage". should say that in downloads. also, don't have anything queued. just 3 downloads or updates going at once and it should run smoothly. and do clear out any notes of the ps4 telling you the update is done.

If this does not work go to home page click option on any game click check for update and pause whatever else is downloading
