I was a child in Scientology. I only managed to escape the cult when I left home at 18. This has left a huge void in my family relationships for over 30 years. As sad as this is...I’m so glad to out of it grips.

If Charlie Manson thinks your place is nuts, you know something is wrong. Also, to go with the Groucho Marx quote, "I would never join a club that would have me as its member". =D

I came very close to Scientology in the mid-1980s, I attended a couple of their "communication" courses. I decided it wasn't for me and wanted to quit. They put me in a very small room to investigate me and wouldn't let me out until I threatened severe legal action. They finally let me go, but to this day, after almost 30 years and many moves in 3 states, I still get mail sent to me from the "church." I HATE those people!!!

I am always a little fascinated by the notion Tom Cruise can’t get a date on his own.

I was chased on the streets by a Scientologist at only 14 and invited to do an "auditing". I saw many other "recruits", who, like me, were then forced to answer almost 200 questions on paper, on the spot before the auditing session could begin. After answering only a few silly questions I sneaked out, (and never looked back), THANK GOD.

I read Hubbard's self help book many years ago, and found it to be completely ridiculous.

I'm embarrassed and ashamed to say that I was involved in Scientology back in the 80's. This of course was before the days of the internet when high volumes of information on Scientology wasn't as readily available. The most shocking fact of all is that this money making cult is still in existence.

🇩🇪 GERMANY IS SO SMART AND LOGICAL IN THIS REGARD

I was a member of the Sea Org, the elite celebrity center members. I was there for about one year and the scary indescribable insanity I saw allowed me enough presence of mind to escape. Yes, I said escape. Once I escaped (known to the church as “blowing”) I was hunted by the church. They would call all the people who knew me and sent people looking for me at places they suspected I would be. They even called family members many states away demanding I return because “I’m in a dangerous mind set and may kill myself” as told to my family by the church, none of it true.

This church is very dangerous to all its members, society and even their elite members such as Tom Cruise, the thing is, they don’t even know it. They are absolutely interested only in money and power and control over celebrities.

Yeah, that's a good move from Germany. They've probably learnt something from overlooking small organisations as no threats to democracy.

My husband worked at a place that was a block from the Clearwater location... my friend and I were walking to a starbucks a few blocks down. When were crossed the street into what would be scientology property, a drone appear above us.

My friend was freaking out, she was unaware of their tactics and paranoia.
She nervously called her mom: "mom remember the Donald Sutherland scene in invasion of the body snatchers? That's what it feels like right now!"

Everyone in uniform - part of the sea org division of the church was glance up and watching us. We made it to Starbucks and back - I flipped off the drone and it left.

The sea org division work the hotel there from around 5-6 am until midnight. Are bussed back and forth to apartments - near where my husband lived. Which was fenced with cameras all over.
