The decline in the number of EV manufacturers in China is exactly what happened in the early 20th century with new car manufacturers going out of business. They jumped on the bandwagon but couldn't survive. Only the best made it.

Xiaomi makes great products like their drone I bought. However, Xiaomi stopped making the smart batteries for it leaving Millions of customers with no options and their drones worthless. This was HUGELY disappointing and Xiaomi cannot be trusted to stand by their products in the long term. I would never buy a Xiaomi product that required batteries again....a warning to EV buyers....

When Japan entered our car markets in the 60's, they surprised us with unexpected quality and reliability. When China entered our markets recently, they dismayed us with cheap builds and shocking danger.
