Natty or not, that is the question. With both of these names getting accused of being fake natties, who's really telling a lie?!

*Disclaimer: Unfortunately, the YouTube algorithm thrives on titles and thumbnails that could be perceived as clickbait. Although I find this particularly distasteful, as a means of reaching a new audience or encouraging my current audience to invest their time into my videos, I must work with the algorithm rather than against it. Statistics have highlighted just how effective aligning titles with the algorithm is and although this can be frustrating for many (myself included), I will always ensure that my titles:

1. Never promote false promises or unrealistic expectations.
2. Will more often than not ask a question.
3. Are worded in a manner that although might be perceived a certain way, are still open to interpretation.

Appealing to more potential viewers gives me the opportunity to further the spread of what I believe to be useful information surrounding the topic in question, in addition to a positive message which often surrounds mental health, with the goal of helping as many people as possible.

It should also be noted that the majority of my videos are based on audience suggestions. ~90% of my audience are women, therefore, the majority of videos are created to appeal to my dominant audience.

It must also be noted that although goals often vary amongst individuals, a lot of my opinions on movements are within the context of building muscle (hypertrophy) and therefore, should be considered with that in mind.

Thank you for giving me your time.*

Patty has said multiple times that she loves posing and taking the kinds of photos she does is her art and expression. She recently posted her progress over the years and it’s clearly a very consistent development of strength and size that I don’t believe is enhanced.

Not to mention athletic backgrounds. Patty was a gymnast for many years, she already conditioned a strong muscular foundation before she transitioned to a weight lifting style training.

I remember watching a video of Patty's and she said when she started lifting she barely ate any protein but still saw gains. I think she is just very genetically blessed, lean, and knows how to pose

I have followed Patty for a long time. She has gymnastics background. She powerlifted for a number of years and then switched to body building. Her growth is impressive, but it has come over a long period of time. She does not appear to be "blowing up" or fluctuating. I believe Patty is a genetically gifted natural.

Most men don't give women enough credit when it comes to muscle building, obviously we aren't the same as men but it's still possible to achieve what these ladies have naturally. Most women don't choose to build a bulky physique which is why it's so shocking to see and is such a hard pill to swallow for some guys

Gains by brains isn’t even muscular. She is just slim. Even her “before” photos she was average weight. Being slim combined with building maybe 10-15 lbs of muscle gives you her physique.

I've seen vids / pics of patty where she just looks kinda normal tbh. Thats one of the biggest reasons think shes natty. She obviously poses, flexes, and gets the pump frequently for a lot of her content. And as mentiond, lighting and angles make a huge difference. I can take pictures that make me look like I'm 160-170 easily (I'm only 5'7") but lately my heaviest is only 150. I regularly weigh like...143 -144, and with normal cloths on, no poses, no cool lighting, people think I only weigh like...125-135 lmao. I personally feel best around 143-144 though, so I try to keep myself smaller / leaner, even then I'm not ULTRA lean. Patty has a better physique than I do I think, but not like...Dana Linn Bailey compared to a normal guy or anything.

I agree with everything you said. As a fan of both of these beauties I never once suspected either of them to be on PEDs but I don't blame people for suspecting it. It's really hard to tell nowadays with how advanced editing has become and then like you said factoring in the lighting and angles. You can literally make your body look completely different depending on the angle and the lighting. Patty is EXCELLENT at her angles and lighting with her posing. She loves doing more body building posing with the lighting and angles where as Gains by Brains is more selfies in the mirror after a gym sesh

I agree, lighting is everything. If you ever went to any gym you know, there is usually a specific spot with mirrors where the lighting just makes you look 3x more jacked than you actually are if just have the smallest bit of pump going on

I've seen women in person who are jacked that it's obvious they are on enhancements, but I don't see that in these women. This is really good info to understand cycling and what would be indicative of PED usage.

In my limited experience most people can’t tell the difference between someone that’s lean and someone that’s huge from online pics. Both of them are yeah, larger than the average person but tiny compared to women that we know are on gear like Chyna (RIP), and DLB. When the biggest selling point of the industry is a muscle group you don’t even have to work if you train compounds (abs) leanness goes a long way. That smaller waist really makes those upper muscles seem a lot bigger than they are.

Patty is for real. These lifting influencers also have way more time to workout than the rest of us. This should be considered.

I remember watching a video form patty about either form or gym equipment and she said about her traps. She said she accidentally developed them at the beginning of her training journey by having wrong form on certain exercises. At least I think it was accidental.... either way her physique is mesmerising

LBP's back alone has inspired me to get muscular and focus on upper body. Benching 125lbs now and my goal is 135 this year (my barbell row usually correlates to my bench press). My back is already much bigger than last year. Love that chick.

I've seen several interviews with Patty talking about how much she enjoys the art of using lighting and angles. Without it she looks pretty normal.

I’m just wondering how GAINSBYBRAINS has visibly built all this muscle without even implementing progressive overload. She’s literally been using the same weights for years and they’re definitely low weights for someone as ‘advanced’ in lifting as her? It confuses me😮

I think the reason why its so often men sayin they cant be natty is because they suffer from fragile masculinity and cannot accept that woman are able to get really strong (maybe stronger than them ). They feel threatened and need to search for reasons to deny

Most of these influencers are actually quite short. That's hard to pick up on photos and videos. It's a lot easier to look muscular when you're quite short and have short limbs. Jeff Nippard, Athlean x, Doucette they are all quite short. If you see any of these people in real life you are not going to be super impressed, I tell you that. I bet ya gainsbybrains isn't 6 foot.

I'm on HRT, currently taking 210 mg testosterone, plus 0.5ml Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG), and 1 mg Anastrozole, all legally prescribed, totally above board. However, whenever people point out how jacked I look, especially at forty-eight, I do feel the need to state that I am not natural. My physician even tells me I'm walking around with the hormone levels of a twenty-year-old college athlete. Of course, I also put in the work, both lifting and tons of cardio. And he so hit it on the head with lighting and angles, especially with Patty's pic where her arms look massive. There's a recent picture of me reading a book, wearing a tank top, and my arm looks like it's twenty inches, shredded. While my arms are well above average, they are nowhere close to twenty inches. The right lighting, at the right angle, even a pic with a smart phone can make you look jacked.

Many will try but only a few can be received . Everybody can do it but not at a level that's such magnitude ! Lean beef is just staying sharp for what's ahead . Of course she doesn't have all the answers but her consistency shows that she's willing to learn . Movies and Fitness I feel would be a great vine to add to the tree of life !
