6:39 That is scientifically accurate. You feed the Happy Ghast with snowfalls, which are then excreted out by its gills and sweat glands. The Ghast's inner body temperature is also closer to water's freezing point and thus the slippery bald head ends up with close to zero coefficient of friction. You do not slip off the Ghast when riding it bcz you're attached with the harness and your centre of mass is closer to it as well. Ideally you would topple down and fall if the ghast suddenly accelerates, but Steve also has impeccable leg strength and reflexes thus he cannot possible face plant the floor.

I've noticed something:
When you picked up the dried ghast, the harness recipes got unlocked
this means the boat is no longer the only unlockable recipe not unlocked through crafting

Edit: wow biggest comment I've ever written ig. Idk about the validity of some of the replies but I did only hear the boat fact in those 30 minutes of useless information videos. I think the original fact was the boat is the only recipe unlockable without picking up any items at all so it still has its spot as being special

6:00 They fixed that issue a while ago. It used to be that fall damage would constantly accumulate while mobs on leads were in the air, but they patched it so that it only accumulates when it has downward velocity (iirc).

Watching Phoenix dangle the cow made me realize that, if we want multiple players to ride a ghast, we just hook up some leaded pigs with saddles on them and take flight.

Put a happy ghast in a Minecart, put it in one of those hyperspeed loops, mount ghast, then activate the ramp and enter hyperspace

I really think you need to be able to tame the ghastlings. A lot of people are going to want to keep them small, and anybody being able to feed them snowballs will let people do it with malicious intent.

I think moving with the ghast when standing on top of it would require some pretty fundamental changes that Mojang might be afraid of. The kinda stuff that makes buildable airships(not redstone flying machines, proper moving block entities)possible, like mods have done for 13 years
