Every Reference You Missed In WISH

Asha makes a wish so powerful that it's answered by a little ball of energy called Star. With Star's help, Asha must save her kingdom from King Magnifico. Since this movie celebrates 100 years of Disney, they included a lot of awesome references to the movies that made Disney so special. Here is every reference we could find! In the end Valentino did a reference to zootopia when he said his wish was to have an animal metropolis where everyone lived equally.

Asha’s blue cape is literally the fairy godmother’s cape. And then the wand and the movement… honestly in my mind this is the fairy godmother’s origin story. Asha is Fairy Godmother.

The magnifying glass isn't a reference to toy story. Toystory is pixar. The magnifying glass was from "The Great Mouse Detective"

Only for the sake of completion, there are three more references a noticed.
1. Snow-white- when magnifico is being absorbed into his staff, for one split second, the face of the mirror can be seen.
2. Robinhood- the bear that walked away with was named John like Rodin's sidekick.
3. Cinderella- in the chase with "Magnifico" Asha didn't just use a wand, but was dressed just the fairy godmother, which later she was called.

I noticed when Asha is leading magnificent away her cloak is the same as fairy godmother from Cinderella.

Magnifico’s face also turned into the magic mirror’s face when he vanished

1.When the hens are dancing in the chicken room, they use a huge chunk of the "be our guest" choreography.
2. the notes of "when you wish upon a star" are present in various renditions and variations thru the movie. the most noticeable one is when asha asks if she can keep the wand, right after the "this is why i'm grumpy" line.

The scene where Asha has dinner with grandpa and mom is reminiscent of Mulan and when Asha ran out the door and the mum shouting Asha is like when Fa Li shout out Mulan when they discovered she was missing. there was also a quick scene where the magic wand made a dress appear on a tree which looks like giselle`s dress in enchanted. the scee where the took the boat out to the other island and asha jumping into the water is a reference to I Am Moana scene.

You forgot more things from Tangled
1. The Kingdom slowly being build piece by piece like the beginning in Tangled of Corona
2. Someone from Welcome to Rosas had long hair like Rapunzel
3. Somebody from Welcome to Rosas was drawing Magnifico in the kingdom similar how Rapunzel did it by painting the Sun in the Kingdom Dance
4. People dancing on the streets like how Rapunzel did it in Kingdom Dance
5. Even though the wishes are like bubbles from Cinderella it's also like the floating lanterns (Maybe)

Also when magnifico said "my home was destroyed by selfish greedy thieves" it reminded me of when abuela and pedro madrigals home was destroyed and pedro gave his life to save abuela julieta pepa and bruno in encanto

The kids and I believe this was Mirror Mirror on the Wall origin story. Because the Queen tell em to set the king trapped to the dungeon. Wife said that the evil queen from Snow White traveled down to the dungeons to visit Mirror Mirror.
Also, i feel very sorry for some content creators that are so critical on these movies. Like they've lost the magic to just simply enjoy something for what it is. Anyway, the family and I thoroughly enjoyed spotting easter eggs, the movie, and the time we spent all together watching. For that, I will thank Disney.
