Switzerland is no longer neutral on the war and the Swiss government announced Monday it will join the EU’s sanction against Russia, bar entry to some high-level Russians with Swiss connections and close Swiss airspace to Russian flights.

The Swiss model of isolationist foreign policy is interesting. The country is a relatively loose confederation of hamlets, naturally walled off from each other and the outside world by the Alps. Rather than joining alliances that would force them into a hard position on every geopolitical issue, they rely on a heavily armed and trained population for their national security.

The US was drawn into WWII when Japan attacked Perl harbor, but most people don't realize that the attack was provoked by the US Sanctioning Japan and cutting off access to US oil exports. Japan imported the majority of their oil from the U.S., and simply could not tolerate that. So they attacked the US and took the oil they needed from the nations to the south, starting the war against the US. We had not considered that they would respond to economic sanctions with a physical attack. Those pushing severe economic sanctions against Russia should not discount the possibility of a kinetic retaliation by Russia. It has happened before.

The buffer issue is only one of many. Ukraine has a very high Russian population and in actuality two areas of Ukraine have wanted independence from Ukraine. Ukraine put many troops at the border of those states and have been antagonising them in several ways including artillery shelling. Funny how that is never in the news. Switzerland has always been the LEAST neutral country on the planet, in terms of how you're describing it. This here now is unusual because they're publicly taking a position. But the Swiss banks have funded most major wars for centuries. There's a reason that the vast majority of bluebloods, old-royal family lines, and freemasons, live in Switzerland. There are more Freemason castles and estates in Switzerland than anywhere else in the world. Switzerland's main export is and has always been MERCENARIES, used in wars the world over. There's a reason Hitler's base was on the border with Switzerland, and not in the center of Germany. The world is ruled by Switzerland and so few seem to know it. The Military Industrial Complex is funded by them. Davos and the Bilderbergs have been meeting there for decades or longer. They've only ever been "neutral" in that they "neutrally" fund all sides of the wars they're involved in. Bank of International Settlements owns the world's land by Swiss banks funding wars then collecting debts via land-and-resource grabs. Switzerland is the most evil country on earth. It's the home base of all the Secret Societies on the planet.
