I just read The Long Walk and loved it! It’s not scary and the plot is really simple but I loved the characters and their struggles during the walk.

I also put push off historical fictions which is weird because I really have enjoyed many of them. When we were yours is great. I’m sure because they tend to be emotional investments. This one is for sure. curious on what you will think of Handmaids. I loved the premise of the book but, it fell so flat for me. Happy ready.

Pretty Girls was fantastic. So descriptive, creepy, grotesque at times and easily devoured in a day or so. 👌👌👌 I have bought at least 4 more Karen Slaughter books since reading Pretty Girls because I loved the writing style so much.

I enjoyed heartstopper but it wasn’t the greatest thing I’ve ever read. But it was definitely super cute

Before we were yours was SO good and I don’t usually like historical fiction and also The Good Daughter was fantastic! My TBR just grew again.... Great video Gabby.

Ahhh I really want to read Pet Sematary before the end of the year too! I still haven't read the Handmaid's Tale either, I definitely want to watch it before watching the show. Before We Were Yours was the pick for my in real life book club lol it was pretty good. I really want to read the Gifted School before 2020 too!!

I will never understand how all of you wonderful booktubers manage to read so much in such a short span of time! Pet Cemetary and The Long Walk are genuinely two of my favourite Stephen King novels, I do miss his old writing. There was a spark of true terror and creativity in his old works which has been replaced by a marketing formula in his newer ones. I'm also looking forward to reading The Handmaid's Tale at some point soon.

i haven't read much of stephen king (yet) but from what i have read the long walk is easily my favorite. also karin slaughter is great, pretty girls is brutal but definitely worth the read

Just added The Nobody People to my TBR. That sounds so interesting! I want to read MIchigan Vs. the Boys and shockingly, I found it at a library book sale yesterday. I couldn't believe it! Did you read the poetry book that Brittainy C. Cherry did with Kandi Steiner? I really enjoyed it.

Michigan vs The Boys and The Long Walk both look great! So does Bromance Book Club. I have so many books I want to read by the end of the year and feeling overwhelmed. So what did I do? I checked out 6 more books at the library.
