Hello! My wife and I look forward to visiting in the middle of May. We hear there are recommendations to hire e-bikes to take a ride from Garmisch to Eibsee. Has anyone taken this trip and are there recommendations/insights? One thing I am interested in is how can we separate ourselves from the bikes for a while to do some hiking around the lake. Thank you!

There is absolutely nothing in this video that anybody with a modicum of common sense wouldn't have considered beforehand anyway - which renders this video nothing but useless.
